Do managers have to be paid overtime?

There are elements that the FLSA sets out on whether or not a managerial exception exists in the FLSA. So that has to be a manager that works more than 40 hours a week, is paid more than $913 a week, manages some kind of enterprise that’s important for the business, directs the work of two or more employees, and that is also taken into consideration when it comes to hiring and firing. So they have to be a real manager, managing the company, managing the employees, and making more than $913 a week in order to be exempt.
