When do the police have to read me my rights in Florida?

When people ask that question, they’re referring to the Miranda rights, the right to remain silent, the right to have an attorney, the right to see a judge. All of these things come into play when you have your Miranda rights read to you. But you don’t always have to have them read to you, because if you’re not going to give a statement, if the police aren’t going to interrogate you, they don’t have to read you your rights.
